consultation services. Aimed at
providing front-line services to customers on all aspects of the human
resources area, our HR services are aimed specifically to serve your company as
needs fit.
Advice, guidance, and
services is provided in areas such as human resource policies and procedures,
employment law, recruitment and selection, training and development,
compensation and benefit administration, payroll, HRIS and information database
systems, employee and union relations, occupational health and safety, WSIB
matters, and to assist clients in outsourcing specific requirements as needed
(EAP services, benefit providers, etc).

Strategic
v
Strategically aligning HR to business
operations, developing and implementing "best practice" HR protocols,
policies and procedures aimed specifically for the client firm.

Verifying compliance with legislative
requirements in all functional HR areas.
v
Assisting in
the implementation and administration of workplace programs and policies (Code
of Conduct, Diversity, Pay Equity, Anti-harassment policies etc.)
Compensation Administration
v
Administrating
performance appraisals for clients’ employees, building promotion systems and
frameworks, succession management, establishing base pay, merit, pay, and
indirect pay compensation mixes for different job grades and classes. We also recommend the types of benefit systems
to be put into place, and align compensation policies in accordance to
strategic objectives.

Verifying and
preparing documentation for benefits administered. Serving as the source for all employee
inquiries regarding pay administration, benefits and other HR areas.
Payroll Administration
v
Providing payroll services as needed: preparing weekly, bi-weekly and
monthly pay slips and transmitting payroll to employees’ personal bank accounts
or/and generating payroll cheques for hand delivery or to mail out.

Creating records of employment (ROE), processing union dues,
terminations, severance pay calculations, etc.

Preparing information reports for a variety of
HR purposes including compensation surveys and static reports.
Recruitment
v
Assisting in the development of job
descriptions based on job specifications and requirements.

Posting jobs
internally and externally, manage resumes, pre-screen resumes for specific
requirements, scheduling and administrating interviews and processing correspondence,
and meeting monthly hiring requirements as needed by clients.

Sourcing candidates through job boards,
applicant tracking systems and direct sourcing.

Strategic partnering or outsourcing for

Implementing a range of retention mechanisms that will hold

Training and Development

Assisting in
coordinating training sessions for clients as requested using live web-based or
classroom based settings.

Arranging
logistics for training sessions including scheduling participants, books venue,
equipment, refreshments, materials and supplies.
Employee Relations

Providing
initial response and guidance on employee relations matters to clients as
guided through HR practices.

Assisting in managing
terminations, ensuring legislative requirements are met.

laws and standards as needs arise.

Health and Safety

Assist in the management of Health & Safety
initiatives for clients ensuring all legislative requirements are met in their
companies

Assist in the
creation and implementation of health and safety policies

Ensure
companies follow correct security procedures

Investigate
security incidents including losses and potential losses
HR Information Systems
v
Assisting in the
creation and implementation of HRIS systems as applicable to all HR functions
required by clients.

Introducing and
training client companies in the use of HRIS software including Oracle HRM/Peoplesoft, Success Factors, SAP HR, where needs fit.

Coordinating
the maintenance of electronic and hard copy records and databases for employee
information including employee files.
v
Assist to maintain
policy and procedure documentation and to interpret them for employees/clients
to help them use and understand HRIS systems where needed.

Help in analyzing
data, including the application and use of sound statistical methods, for
various programs.
v
Identify and
correct discrepancies and provide meaningful information to aid in
interpretation and decision making.
v
Oversee system
administration and security to ensure all systems/tools are properly set up and
protected, etc.

Undertake research
and project work for clients as required
